Abstract
|
|
|
Sickness and Utilization of Nursing Room of School Children 876 cases of sickness that utilized nursing room of the school. which holds 4,464 children(2, 495 male and 1, 969 female) in Kwang--ju city was observed during a period of spring semester, 1974.
The results are summarized as follows:
The rate of sickness to the whole students during that observed period was 19.6 per100, and 18.2 per 100 for male. and 20.5 per 100 for female, and the highest class was 4th year (27.2 per 100).
Injury was the most frequent type of sickness (30.9%) followed by headache (27..0%) and abdominal pain (20.900), but,. headache and anemia were dominant in female whereas injury and epistaxis were in male.
